3’s Program
3’s – Enrollment begins in the fall of the year prior to a child starting school.
Children must turn 3 by December 31 of the year they begin to enroll.
We offer 2 classroom options:
5 Days – Monday – Friday 9am-12pm
3 Days – TWTH 9am-12pm

PreK 4’s Program
4’s – Pre-K Enrollment for current FUMNS students begins in November.
New prospective 4’s students’ enrollment is based on class capacity and continues throughout the year.
Children must turn 4 by December 31 of the year they begin to enroll.

Extended Day for 3’s and 4’s
Lunch Club and Permanent Lunch Club (PLC) is offered to extend the day in an unstructured format. The children enjoy interacting with new friends from different classrooms. Children bring their own lunch and enjoy mealtime socialization with friends. Dismissal is outside weather permitting at 2:30 pm.
Lunch club is daily sign up and PLC is a half year or full year commitment.
Kindergarten Program
Kindergarten Enrollment begins in October.
Children must turn 5 by December 31 of the year they begin Kindergarten to enroll.
Class is limited to 14 students.
**The state of Connecticut has changed the age requirement for entrance to public school kindergarten. Beginning with the 2024-2025 school year, children need to turn 5 years on or before September 1 in order to be automatically eligible for kindergarten. This is a change from the current kindergarten cutoff date of January 1. Since we are a private school, FUMNS will continue to accept kindergarten students who turn 5 years by January 1. **

Enrollment

Extended Day Options- “the extras”
Lunch Club – Need a little extra time in the afternoon? Students extend the fun of their regular school day, eat lunch with friends and get to know children and teachers from the other class rooms. Lunch Club is offered as a daily sign up.
Permanent Lunch Club (PLC) – Lunch Club on a permanent basis for Full or Half year. Sign up by day of the week for half or full year
Lunch Club Programs run until 2:30. Programs consist of free play, lunch and outdoor time as well as meeting and playing with students from all 3’s and PreK4 classrooms.
Enrichments
Wednesday’ for 3′s- Creative Kids, a weekly enrichment program, is offered every Wednesday from 12:00-2:30. Offers children the opportunity to extend their classroom day, share lunch (lunch from home) with friends and enjoy the Enrichment of the Day – Lego, Playdough, Holiday Crafts, Dino Day, Superhero Day etc.
PreK- Enrichment classes are offered by our staff. Each session offers a special focus & extends your child’s day. Programs have been: Nature Explore, Spanish, Cooking, Lego Club, Fun Fitness & Art and are offered in 6 or 4 week Holiday sessions. Enrichments run from 11:45-2:30
Kindergarten- Programs will be offered 2 afternoons a week (2:30-3:30). Themes have been: Nature Explorer, Cooking, Lego & Art.
All Enrichment programs have an additional cost
Camp
A daily camp program is offered in June & July from 9:00-1:00
We offer online payment via ACH or Credit Card, and discounts for pre-payment in full as well as monthly payment plans.
